The Ascent
Showcase
- Developed *The Ascent* as part of a two-team project over the course of a semester while managing other projects.
- Simulated the capstone experience by designing a game around unconventional input devices like VR, AR, or a steering wheel.
- Group chose to work with a steering wheel, creating a concept similar to *Only Up* with a unique twist—steering to navigate and using the gas pedal to move forward or the brake to reverse.
- Took on both coding responsibilities and creative freedom in designing game mechanics and the environment.
- Balanced technical and creative tasks to enhance gameplay and overall experience.
